Table Mountain Summit Walk for the Whole Family

Exploring Table Mountain is a must when visiting Cape Town but not everyone wants to climb it! Then this walk is just for you and for your whole family. You take the cableway up to the top and walk the length of the ‘Table Top’ of Table Mountain (the flat part) to the highest point of the mountain in a circular route, ending back at the Upper Cableway Station. This takes approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Your guide, will collect you from your accommodation, within the Cape Town City Bowl area, take you through to the Lower Cable Station from where you will catch the cableway up to the top of the mountain. At the top you and your guide will make your way East across the Table Top towards the highest point, Maclears Beacon. Your guide will tell you about the fascinating formation of Table Mountain, the fauna and flora of the area as well as the history of our beautiful city. On this route you get panoramic views of the City, Robben Island, the back of Table Mountain, the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town towards False Bay and of course the Atlantic Seaboard with spectacular views of Camps Bay.
