Shark Cage Diving from Simonstown
Morning and Afternoon tours available. Tours last around 3 – 4 hours at sea. Price per person : R2,600 and this includes
coffee / tea, light breakfast, passionate crew, educational booklet, dive gear, towels, light lunch, snacks & refreshments. Please note that as we are dealing with wild animals, sightings of sharks cannot be guaranteed.

This cruise offers everything from whales (in season), exploring ocean caves, stunning cliff faces and the most spectacular view of Cape Point from offshore. You will also see many different bird species or may even meet up with a school of dolphins on the way. On our return to Simon’s Town we stop off at the Boulder’s to view the African Penguin colony from the seaward side. Price per person: R660 (morning and afternoon cruises available). Seal Island Cruise – from Simonstown
Situated only 8 nautical miles (about 16kms) from Simon’s Town, Seal Island is home to 75,000 Cape Fur Seals, 24 different bird species and the hunting ground of the Great White Shark. En route to the island the views are truly spectacular, with Cape Point in the distance to your right, Table Mountain and the Constantia wine route to your left and ahead, the majestic Hottentot’s Holland mountain range. All year round we often encounter Dolphins, Humpback whales and Brydes whales. From July to November the Southern Right whales are plentiful in the bay and you can be assured of a sighting. During the winter months the Great White Sharks are extremely active around the island and we enjoy many sightings and often witness natural predations. Sea Kayak Penguin tour – view the cheeky African Penguin from a marine perspective.
One of the most unique places in the world – a penguin colony in suburban Cape Town! And the best way to see it is from the water. On the way you will normally encounter a number of Cape Fur seals. If the time and tide is right you may stop on a beach for a swimming break, or else swim from the kayaks and get a close up look at penguins on the rocks nearby. The double kayaks are very stable and perfect for those with no paddling experience and children 10 and up. This is a trip every able bodied individual can and should do. Price per person: R350 (departure times 8.30 and 11.00 am). Duration of tour – approx. 2 hours.

Hike the Shipwreck Trail at Cape Point
Hike with an experienced, qualified and knowledgeable guide. An easy trail suitable for all ages with spectacular scenery. Duration of the hike is approx. 2 hours. Price per person: R350.
Snorkel with Seals – Hout Bay
Join the seal snorkeling experts who are dedicated to getting you in the water with these fantastic creatures. Their teams of passionate marine guides are keen to share the beauty of the ocean with you. Also enjoy hot showers, private change rooms, free Wifi and coffee. Their vessels take 10 snorkelers and will get you to the snorkeling site, Duiker Island, quickly and safely. Cape Fur seals are most active and abundant in the heat of Cape Town’s summer. So beat the heat – join us! This tour takes about 3 hours – this includes 30 minutes to sign in and kit up, briefing and travelling to and from the harbour and island. On average, visitors spend 45 mins – 1hr in the water. Price per person: R900 which includes dive equipment, experienced and qualified dive instructors present, snacks & refreshments).
Zipline – The adventure begins at Silvermist Estate between Constantia & Hout Bay.
Guests are taken on a hair raising guided 4 x 4 drive into the mountain high above Constantia with a spectacular view of Cape Town. Cape Town Ziplines boarders on the Table Mountain National Park Reserve. You will be surrounded by the natural beauty, fauna and flora while walking and zipline between the 12 platforms. You could almost mistakenly think that you are inside the Table Mountain Nature Reserve as you take in the amazing scenery. The Zipline experience offers you a tour of the cables starting high in the mountain and slowly descending down the slopes. Our platforms offer visitors the most amazing panoramic views of Cape Town. Guides on the tour will assist with your extreme journey and ensure you have a memorable experience. Some of our Ziplines are as high as 155 Meters with the tree top canopy below and the longest of the Ziplines in the tour is just under 500 meters. The price for this incredible, memorable experience is R580 per person and takes approximately 2 hours.
Scratch Patch – One for the kids and adults alike!
It is a place where you can have loads of fun “scratching” for your favourite tumble-polished gemstones from thousands of polished stones that quite literally cover the floor. There are a wide variety of tumble-polished gemstones in the Scratch Patch, mostly popular Southern African stones such as Tiger’s Eye, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Jasper, Agates and Crystals. If you’re lucky, you might find virtually anything including Lapis Lazuli, Blue Lace Agate and some really exotic stones! It’s popular with all ages – and being surrounded by so many colourful stones is a memorable and uplifting experience. More and more people are starting to believe that gemstones have “powers” – and being surrounded by so many beautiful polished gemstones certainly does have a calming effect on many people – and especially children! Entrance is free and you are able to buy various size bags or a cup to collect your gems when you arrive. No time limit – stay as long as you want.

No entrance fee is charged and there is an Egg and a Leather Shop where you can browse for some souvenirs.
